Born and raised in Alberta, Larry Thiessen has been inspired by the exceptional natural beauty of western Canada. From the lakes and rivers nestled in the Canadian Rocky Mountains to the vastness of the open prairies, Larry’s ability to capture these scenes has garnered the attention of many art enthusiasts and collectors.

After decades of focusing on his film and production work, Larry decided to pick up the brushes again, continuing to hone his craft on the canvas. In 2016, Larlee Landscapes was born.
